# RetroLoop: Real-time sprint retrospectives for agile teams.

Private drafts, voting, timers and action items, synced live. Open source under the MIT licence.

- Platforms: Web app
- Source code: https://github.com/runtimebug/retroloop
- Stack: Next.js 16, React 19, NestJS 11, Socket.IO, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, TypeScript
- Built and run by: Oxyloop (https://oxyloop.com)

## What it does

- Real-time collaboration over WebSockets: everyone sees cards, votes and timers live
- Private drafts, revealed together at the right moment
- Team voting to decide what to discuss first
- Timers to keep the meeting on track
- Action items tracked across retrospectives

## How it is built

A Next.js front end talks to a NestJS API over REST and to a Socket.IO gateway for live events. Data lives in PostgreSQL through Drizzle. JWT auth, rate limiting on HTTP and WebSocket traffic, Sentry for errors and Prometheus metrics.
